Kitchen restoration after water damage

Water had been running behind the base cabinets long enough to swell the cabinet boxes and lift the flooring. The homeowner needed the room documented for a claim before demolition could start, and wanted a better layout out of the rebuild rather than a like-for-like replacement.

The work we performed

• Documented and demolished damaged cabinets, flooring and lower drywall
• Dried and repaired the subfloor, then rebuilt walls and paint-ready surfaces
• Installed new cherry-finish cabinetry with a reworked sink and range layout
• Set quartz countertops, tile backsplash and under-cabinet lighting
• Reconnected plumbing, disposal and dishwasher and added dedicated circuits

The outcome

The kitchen came back larger-feeling and better organised than before the loss, with the insurance documentation handled alongside the construction.
