Can you repair part of a fence instead of replacing it?
Yes, and we often do — a leaning run usually needs posts reset rather than a whole new fence. We will tell you honestly when a repair is throwing money at a fence that is done.
Cedar or composite for a deck?
Cedar costs less up front and looks warmer; composite costs more and asks almost nothing of you afterwards. For shaded, damp yards we usually lean composite.
Do fences need a permit here?
Most residential fences under six feet do not, but height limits and setbacks vary by city and HOA. We check before we build.
